    Rock Shox manufactures front and rear suspension systems. Their rear shocks can weigh as little as 200g, feature Schrader valves and for the most part aluminum construction; Bar models incorporate chromoly steel.

  • DT Swiss

    DT Swiss manufactures suspension systems for the front and back of the bike. Their shocks are available under three series in various size options; XR Carbon, the XM 180  and the EX 200. XR Carbon shocks weigh in at as little as 139g to 165g making them DT Swiss' light weight series. With travel availability up to 63.5mm the EX 200 is built with a continuous adjustable compression platform. While the XM series features low weight and increased stiffness.
  • Romic

    Romic designs and makes hand-built racing shocks for mountain bikes. Their components include their Twin Tube Dampers, Reactor Valve which tunes both bump forces and rider inputs, and the Romic D double adjustable twin tube damper. With a wide range of spring rates available shocks are offered in standard sizes as well as custom. Romic products are CNC machined and hand assembled.
  • Marzocchi

    Marzocchi suspension products include their aftermarket rear shocks. These shocks range from models with all adjustable rebound, air valve, air spring, and adjustable high speed compression as well as those with two position lock up and external rebound adjustment.
  • Magura

    Magura manufactures suspension forks and rearshocks. The 2009 MX is an all air rearshock that doesn't use dynamic seals and its damping system utilizes air. The MX rearshock is not available as an aftermarket product. The Hugin is an air rearshock with oil compression and adjustable platform. Weight starts at 255g, upward from there depending on size.
  • Fox Racing

    Fox Racing aftermarket rear shocks include the Float, and DHX series and the Van R model. Features of these shocks include weight ranging from 200 grahams (Float R 6.5"x1.5", no reducers) up to 443 grahams (DHX Air 5.0, 8.5"x2.5" no reducers), adjustment features for air spring pressure, rebound, coil spring or components like Schrader valves.
  • Noleen Suspension Technologies

    Noleen offers bicycle suspension components:  rear shocks and front fork shocks. All shocks have spring preload adjustment and are rebuildable. Some models have external compression and/or rebound adjustments as well.
  • Manitou

    Manitou manufactures suspension systems including separate shock components such as springs. Their rear shocks include the Evolver line built specifically for long travel, downhill and freeride. It is available in either shim-based or SPV-based damping systems, with 4 or 6 levels of adjustment. Their rear shock springs include a titanium model that fits shocks 8.75"x2.75" and longer.
