  • Bike Athens

    BikeAthens promotes transportation and land-use policies that improve alternative modes of transportation, including pedestrian, cycling, and public transit options. The mission of our organization is to make alternative transportation a practical, convenient, and safe option for all citizens of Athens-Clarke County. BikeAthens’ also has a Bicycle Recycling program, a cooperative venture with local social support agencies, distributes reconditioned bikes to individuals in the Athens community who are underserved by private and public transportation. We rely exclusively on volunteers to
    recondition the bikes.

    Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association in Gainesville, Georgia is a mountain biking club dedicated to promoting land access, trail preservation, and new trail development in order to enhance mountain bike touring, racing, fun, and fellowship for all mountain bicyclists in the southeastern United States.

    Coastal Bicycle Touring Club is based in Savannah, Georgia.  The club consists of road, touring, hybrid, recumbent, and tandem adult cyclists.

  • Sweet Onion Cyclists

    The Sweet Onion Cyclists have all different types of bikes and skill levels. SOC organize weekly training and fun rides, daily rides, century rides, weekend and extended weekend trips and other cycling events in the Vidalia, GA area. Membership fees are $15 for an individual and $20 for a family. There are currently 33 memebers in the SOC.
